Dr. Andreas Geiger, M.E.S

Dr. Andreas Geiger, M.E.S Dr. Geiger is Managing Partner of the firm. Before founding Alber & Geiger he was European President & CEO of US lobbying firm Cassidy & Associates in Brussels. He started his career in the Cabinet of the Advocate General at the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg where he worked on all aspects of EU law. He then became an Attorney at international law firm TaylorWessing based in Duesseldorf and Brussels, focussing on antitrust and state aid issues. After that he became Head of the EU Law Center of Ernst & Young in Brussels covering EU competition policy, telecoms, tax harmonisation, right of establishment, transport policy, free provision of services, free movement of goods, consumer protection and environment policy. He is author of the “EU Lobbying Handbook” and a visiting professor for EU law and lobbying at the University of Duesseldorf, Germany. He holds a Ph.D. in EU law and a law degree from the University of Tuebingen, Germany, along with a European Masters degree form the University of Bonn, Germany.
